About Sloth Medical

You purchase makes a difference!

Sloths are sensitive, loving creatures, and their journey touched our hearts when we saw a video about a baby sloth abandoned and adopted by a journalist. We connected with sloths after learning how devoted mothers are, carrying their babies for a year, teaching them survival, and only letting them go when they’re independent. Their lives depend on this care.

Abandoned baby sloths are orphans, often victims of poaching or killed mothers. The baby in the story, adopted by a journalist, was dying despite her care. She realized the baby’s survival depended on constant warmth and closeness—sloths need to be held to thrive.

This inspired us to support sloth conservation. Sloths are often misunderstood as lazy, but their slow movement is a clever survival strategy. In today’s busy world, we rush through life, but slowing down like a sloth can help us live more intentionally and improve our well-being.

We are grateful for the lessons sloths teach us about life, love, and coexistence. To show our appreciation, we support the Sloth Conservation Organization in Costa Rica and donate a portion of our sales to help protect these amazing creatures.
